HOUSE OB recruiting Medical Lead

The HOUSE OB Medical Lead is responsible for providing rurally relevant medical and clinical expertise in partnership with the Senior Medical Lead and UBC Rural CPD’s educational experts to one project or a portfolio of projects. The Medical Lead works collaboratively with the project team and provides some direction to other CPD staff, including coordinators, assistants, and instructional designers, as required. The Medical Lead collaborates with other consultants and subject matter experts that may support delivering the program and develop curriculum. 

This position is open to a practicing rural physician providing obstetrical care into third trimester in British Columbia with point of care ultrasound skills for first and third trimester and regular use in clinical practice. Candidates require proficiency with ultrasound technologies including handheld devices, expertise and interest in education and teaching, and leadership experience.
